A quick plan and 12 days later, the gang of 8 huddled at Singapore's Changi Airport and bid goodbye to motherland and left for a sinful, fantastic, mind blowing 4 days! On the start of the holiday, Tristan was "kissed" by the itchy red skin virus.. What a great start.. Thank my lucky stars, I have Rakib, the Medic who had his First Aid supplies with him.. A few wrong check in counters later, we were all pumped to go!! Passports checked, heavy luggages checked, friends checked, partners checked, money checked.. Zoom off we did and made our way to our flights.. One had motion sickness, some had the sleeping-onboard-sickness, some had the read-a-book-sickness.. Ultimately, all had the WE-CAN'T-WAIT-FOR-BALI-SYNDROME! Nearly 3 hours later, we stepped onto Denpasar Airport, Bali & was welcomed by Pak Putu, our personalized driver.. LET'S ROCK BALI!!
Less than an hour we stepped onto the soil of the party haven, with a quick wash up and check in at Dewi Sri Hotel, we went exploring the streets of Bali.. Can't wait can we.. And so, we picked a safe choice for dinner at a Western outlet, afraid to go for a full blown Bali Meal.. Easy on the stomach.. Boommm.. Boommm.. Boommm.. The feets start to tap to the wall-shattering, ground-breaking music that came off the PARTY STREET.. Was that a signal? Roamed around the crazy streets of sin we did.. Booze in hand, sweaty Americans & Australians body slapping pass each other, maniacs party animals! The drugs that were so widespread which were peddled as if they were peddling.. hmm.. coins?? After many haggling and touting for guests, the gang made up our mind to head to Paddy's Pub.. Huge pub with lots of Australians and great music.. With full tummies, we sashayed our drinks in & boogeyed those excesses away.. It took some time for the rest to warm up, but given the drinks and music combo, soon.. We were losing our heads.. The music was superb! The crowd? CRAZY!! So Dada asked, "Is Tinker happy??" Guess what, my face says all ain't it?? Thank you Dada for Bali! It is greatly appreciated.. The night ended with a very drunk group of Singaporeans.. *chuckles* and off we retreated to our rooms, sparing those 3 hours of rest before we open our eyes to the next day of water-rafting! Drunks doing water-rafting? Watch for the Bali Day Dos..
