Running my own show in Jakarta, Indonesia..Will I make it??Don't miss me too much when I'm there & hopefully the tremors do not make a surprise visit on me..Shangri-La Jakarta should be safe enough for my trip..

Coming back in town after Jakarta will be the SILVER JUBILEE Birthday Bash at Ascott Singapore & being the Event Director, I cannot screw this up!

Nuraa's Engagement falls on the 22nd..The splash of pink & white..Girls..Try to dress within the theme..& also Sangeetha's (Anand's super gorgeous sister) wedding in the evening of 22nd..Time to dress up..

This is Destination X..It is my favourite boutique hotel which SGD300++ per night..We got ourselves comfortably checked in just as I was resting my laurel on the big comfy bed..I was rushed..To another destination..*scratch head*

Far East.."For what??"That's when I turn my head around & saw these girls behind the wall.. Can anyone imagine the ruckus when the 4 of us meet including Benny,Tata & Aizat..Screams pierced through Far East & I got myself so hyped!!Not before being sabo-ed by them by putting a Birthday Board around my neck!!*Thanks Devil!*
I became a walking mascot where pictures were snapped & can anyone imagine the crowd in Far East on a Saturday??*phew*

& as I was pretending to sulk in embarassment, I was slapped with another surprise..Guess who?? Anna!!

This time round my stomach made a flip & heart attack was just inches away from making its success virgin trial on me..

Tata made me stand on stage & they happily shoot photos while I awkwardly "posed" around..

Came the inevitable rain & yet again had to pose for pictures..What a clown!Then we break for dinner at Puncak..Imagine me with my signboard standing in front where all the eyes turned around & surprisingly a group of spontaneous Malay boys wished me in their loud clear voices.."Happy Birthday!!!!!!"

Trust me, I nearly teared in embarassment but made a good sport out of it as I waved a "thank you" to them..

As dinner was served, a Malay guy tapped Prasath's shoulder & asked for my name..Then he wished me inclusive handing over a cute fluffy bear with a flower..It was from him & his girlfriend..& yes..I do not know them..Strangers doing their strange thing..Awesome weren't they??I ran after them to mutter my thanks before exchanging emails..

The whole lot of us then drove back to Scarlet Hotel when Anand & Asnita made their appearences..Syqin, Sham, Nanee & Rau surprised me at Scarlet with their presence..

Oh..Did I mention?? I have my very own BANNER!! The work of Prasath..

& the whole lot went into the camwhoring bonanza with cameras clicking in every direction while I try to put my best happy face up while still trying to soak in all the surprises..

How excited was I??Very!! Very!! Very!!

See..My bestfriend came too!! The reason why I jumped up & down!!~again..

Tristan caught in between the warring frenzy which Divine clearly won with a cheap shot to Prasath's forehead resulting in a bump..

Sassy made her way very comfortable too, permanently conquering a spot on the bed & yes, was I surprised to see her face at Far East with that grin..!!

My different group of friends certainly blended well with each other.. & Benny even played bartender for the night..Mixing the Absoluts with the juices & the Chinggis!!

& guess who Anand miss most?? Ans: Chingz aka Chinggis!!

Divine..Oh Divine..How dare you squarely looked me in my face at Indochine & said you didn't know of any birthday plans??As a penalty, bring me for a ride!! Yeeee-Haaa!!

& finally we made our exit near midnight for Supperclub & gosh!! Was Halloween good or what?!
We danced on sofas with our heels..Goodness Gracious we didn't tear them..*giggles*
We chilled at our favourite spot of Supperclub..
We boozed more!! & danced!! & boozed!! & danced!!

We pouted..We got high..We drank more!!Divine shortly passed out & Tristan got more devillish!!

How can I not enjoy this?? Every single person that mattered to me came & certainly put a smile on my face.. Even in that stupor.. I knew I had fun!

We met many evil characters..Some were good looking too..*chuckles* & my end of the stick says, "Thank you for making my birthday a real big deal!"

*drumrolls* & here comes my speech that I made that night in my teary drunken but most touched self.. :

Dear Prasath, the $thousands$ that you've spent on the Birthday Dinner at M Hotel, The Scarlet Hotel Surprise, the countless surprises that I had plus the many effort to bring all my loved ones together to commemorate my Birthday.. All I can say is Thank You!! From the bottom of my heart.. No amount of words can certainly express how I feel throughout Round 1 & 2..

You've got my back on you..That's for sure..

Came the booming irritating voice of Mr Bratty asking me to pick up the endless ringing & buzzing of my phone by people flooding it with many well-wishes texts..Thank you all..& with that milisecond to spare..Right before I exit the kitchen..2 fresh cold eggs were planted & smacked fashionably right on top of my head..Followed by the scrambling of 2 pair of feets running to their room for refuge..*stares at Sis-in-Law & Mr Bratty*

Friday morning, the lazy bones (read: me!) dragged her lithe body to the office in her brand new white Marilyn Monroe inspired dress with the white 3-inch gladiator killer heels with her birthday-attitude.. All jumpy & excited as to what the day will roll for her.. Came the email from Boss to remind us of the meeting at 1430h.. Ooh.. What a mood-killer!!

So I rolled into the the MD office to find this:

Me : Awestruck!! An array of goofy pink & black cupcakes with 24 long candles awaits me.. Followed by the Birthday Song.. & me : starts jumping masking my tears of joy!! Ooh!! Came the presents!! A Guess Clutch Beg, A Guess Bracelet & Killer Heels!! Thank you colleagues & boss!! That started the many series of surprises.. FaceBook was practically littered with many well-wishes, the mobile kept bringing in texts & also calls to once again remind me of my Birthday!! The attention was stunningly overwhelming!! *sheepish smile*

Came evening when I was whisked off in the car to an unknown area - a Surprise just for me, says the Devil.. Blindfolded!!

Mind went into a whirlwind trying to figure out the road works..AYE, my mind says.. Hmm.. Is it to the flyer as I try to navigate the directions.. FLYER!! I was hell-bent on the destination & was arrogant enough to shoot off my measly comments all the way.. Even in the lift.. Guess what?? When I removed the eyemask, this was where I was placed : HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! They roared while I took in the scene.. Cameras flashed in my face.. Papparazi-style!! Donned in black!! How classy!! My family!! Complete!! My Amore's family!! Complete!! My bestfriend!! Complete!! My buddies!! Complete!! Been duped into thinking it's a Dinner-for-Two which turns out to be Hotel M's Dinner-for-15!! & yes darlings.. All of you cheated my feelings into thinking that you guys will be occupied with work & other commitments.. But there you are spread in front of me.. As I clumsily stumbled in the reastaurant, blindfolded.. *blush*

Then we had the spread of delicacies.. The buffet.. The main courses.. The desserts.. & what's a Birthday without your favourite cake?? From Secret Recipe.. 2kg at that!! So now I know why the Devil keeps giving me the Missing-From-Office-Action.. Run cake errand!! *giggles*

After a 3 hour long dinner where everyone tantalized their taste buds, palpitate from the jokes & bonded freely.. We left for karaoke session.. Just the young ones.. Where we sang to our heart's content till the wee hour.. Driven back home with hands full of bags of gifts.. & a beautiful experience to last a lifetime..

My personal thanks to Prasath for the very expensive treat for 15 to M Hotel.. & for giving my birthday a very personal touch with people that really means a lot to me.. For the many effort in keeping me in the dark & for getting Amore to play by the finger..

Amore..You cheated my feelings..In a good way..Didn't know you were capable of hiding such an enormous plan from me..

Mustapha..For telling me that you have to be sent overseas for your assignment..But there you are together with me celebrating yet another year down my calendar..

To the Abdul Rahmans, happily giving me the smokescreen that nothing is happening on my Birthday while actually this has all been planned hand-in-hand with Prasath, way back when I was in Vietnam.. To the Raja Salims, for injecting that extra dose of speciality on my special day & dressing up all classy & nice.. Special mention to Ayah who went the extra mile to come straight to the Hotel from work, & yet still dressed in the theme.. Anand & Nantha, the important people from Prasath's side who strike a chord with my family, especially my wannabe-surgeon-Papa..*inside jokes*

& that people..is Round 1..A party fit for a princess?? No??!! More for a Queen indeed!! Await Round 2 for more ground breaking surprises that sents my tears trickling in shock, surprise & immersed happiness..
